About

Made with love for people fighting climate change.

Graph was made for all the people around the world who are working to stop climate change (often unpaid or underpaid and unable to pay professional font prices), so it's free and available for anyone to use for non-commercial purposes.

Graph is designed to be a display-oriented companion to Klima. It was inspired by typefaces like DIN 1451 Engschrift, Tungsten and Trade Gothic Bold Condensed.

Are webfonts included?

Yes, webfont files are included (.WOFF, .SVG, .TTF, .EOT) but beware — they are unhinted. That is to say, they are not optimized for smaller sizes or for older web browsers/operating systems.

I recommend using Graph at sizes 18px and larger, and specifiying a standard web font like Arial for browsers older than IE8, or if you have a significant percentage of users on older versions of the Windows operating system.

Why isn't Graph available for commercial use?
  1. I made Graph to be a tool for people working to stop climate change. I'm happy if individuals or non-profits/NGOs use it for other things, but it was created to serve a specific purpose that doesn't include commercial usage.
  2. I don't want to undercut professional type designers. If you need a font for commercial use, you can probably afford to pay a professional. Here are some type foundries I'd recommend:
